사회통합연구는 강원대학교 사회통합연구소의 공식학술지로 1년에 3회(3월, 7월, 11월) 발간하고 있습니다. 사회통합연구는 다양한 유형의 격차 및 사회 갈등 현황을 진단하고 사회통합을 모색하기 위한 목적으로 창간되었으며, 미발표 연구 논문의 투고를 받아 전문가 2인의 심사결과를 토대로 학술지편집위원회에서 최종 게재 논문을 선정합니다.

This study analyzes the impact of social isolation in old age on life satisfaction. Social isolation is multidimensional, encompassing relational, physical, and economic isolation. The research distinguishes between the presence of social isolation and its level. For this analysis, data from the 2020 eighth additional survey of the National Pension Research Institute's "Korean Retirement Income Study (KReIS)" was utilized. This study analyzed whether there are differences in the impact of health practices on depression counseling and suicide between urban and non-urban areas. Additionally, it tested whether depression counseling mediates the relationship between health practices and suicide in both regions.
